With more than 20 years of experience in intellectual property and licensing, Gloria G. Isla serves as trustee and senior partner at Isla del Campo, SC, Mexico.

She has published many articles on technology transfer, licensing, and intellectual property. An active member of several IP and Business International Associations, among which is the Licensing Executives Society International (LES), Isla is the past president of the Mexican Chapter of LES and has been a member of the editorial board of Les Neuvelles, Journal of Technology of LESI.  She is the current International Vice President of the Mexican Chapter of AIPPI.  She has organized the Mexican FPLC Alumni Association with the aim of promoting the enrollment to the IP programs and establishing a network of IP professionals in Mexico.  Isla earned her law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City and her MIP 1988 from FPLC.  She participated in the Visiting Scholar Program at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
