Karinne Brobst '11

PIC fellow, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maine, Criminal Division

Karinne Brobst prepared legal memoranda, researched legal issues, and attended federal court proceedings. Karinne prepared trial level cases for the Assistant U.S. Attorney for those charged with prosecuting gun crimes and coordinating the office’s gang task force.

In addition, Brobst assisted the national coordinator for the Violence Against Women Act with appeals from federal jurisdictions across the country. In fact, one of the cases she worked was for the U.S. Solicitor General and will be before the U.S. Supreme Court.

“It was a truly incredible experience.”
