Jay Duguay '11

PIC Fellow, New Hampshire Public Defender's Littleton Office

Jay Duguay worked as a PIC fellow in the New Hampshire Public Defender's Littleton office. He was writing motions to suppress searches and vehicle stops, writing motions to dismiss charges, reviewing discovery documents, and drafting memos to the attorneys.  As an investigator, he served subpoenas, interviewed clients, and provided detailed interview reports to assist in the defense of the clients.

Duguay was also provided extraordinary networking opportunities. He was introduced to many prosecutors, police prosecutors, attorneys and nearly every sitting judge in both the Superior and District Courts in Coos County, NH.

“My work on behalf of indigent defendants was both fulfilling and meaningful.”
