PIC fellow, New Hampshire's Catholic Charities’ Immigration and Refugee Services Division, Nashua, NH

Diana Chea helped secure permanent immigration status for some of the most vulnerable, and assisted in providing immigration counseling and legal representation to low-income immigrant clients.

She conducted intake interviews of potential clients and assessed their eligibility for certain immigration benefits, represented clients in court, and prepared applications to normalize immigrants’ status in the United States. Chea also prepared and filed applications for permanent residence in the United States for 20 refugees who fled persecution in Burundi and cannot return to their home country.
